Towards the end of the week, we all tend to feel the strain on our energy levels to some extent. Anxiety disorders

This means your body doesn’t have enough of this particular hormone to keep functioning optimally. You may notice symptoms such as fatigue, weight gain, irritability, constipation, hair loss, dry skin, and sensitivity to cold.

 

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) refers to prolonged, overwhelming fatigue. Symptoms include tender lymph nodes, joint or muscle pain, a feeling of weakness, inability to concentrate, as well as headaches. It may be caused by infectious diseases, immune disorders, endocrine system disorders, low blood pressure, or a lack of sleep.

Anaemia

Anaemia occurs when your red blood cell count is lower than optimal. The most known type of anaemia is a result of low iron levels in the blood. Associated symptoms are fatigue, pale skin, dizziness, and increased heartbeat to name a few; but there are other causes of anaemia as well. This includes certain chronic diseases, excessive blood loss, and deficiencies of folate or vitamin B12.

 

Sleep Apnoea

Sleep apnoea causes your upper airway to collapse during sleep, which leads to interrupted breathing, reduced oxygen levels in your bloodstream, and severe snoring. This causes breaks in your sleep pattern leading to poor sleep quality and leaves you feeling tired the next morning.
